Customize Blog Comment Recipients

You can choose which users, if any, receive a notification when a comment is added to a blog post. This setting works whether comments are moderated or unmoderated.

System Administrators | Owners

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. Navigate to Modules. Click on Content, then Blog:

  3. Click Choose an Action, then select Properties next to your desired category:

  4. Locate the Comments Option section:

  5. Select a style of moderation:

    • No Comments: Do not allow users to post comments

    • Moderated: Allows for supervision and censoring

    • Unmoderated: No supervision or censoring

  6. Ensure that Send Email for Blog Comments is set to Yes:

  7. Add email addresses to the Submit Comments To field:

    Note:

    Separate each email address with a comma.

  8. Click the Save button:
