Edit a Skin

skins provide different design options for your widget containers. This article will show you how to edit a skin.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your website solution

  2. Click to expand the Modules dropdown menu: Web Central Modules Dropdown Menu Highlighted.

  3. Click the Site Tools tab: Web Central Admin User Menu Modules Dropdown Site Tools Tab.

  4. Click the Design Center module option: Web Central Modules Dropdown Site Tools Tab Design Center Option.

  5. Select Theme Manager: Web Central Design Center Module Theme Manager.

  6. Select the Container Preview Options icon: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Container Preview Options Icon.

    Note:

    There are numerous Container Preview Options icons to select from, depending on how many containers are built into your layouts and depending on which layout you are using to view the skin.

  7. Select which skin (or skins) you want to edit by checking the appropriate box(es): Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Container Preview Options Dialog Box and Checkbox Options.

  8. Select the Close/X button to close out of the Container Preview Options window: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Container Preview Options Checkbox Options and Close (X) Button.

  9. The skin will appear on your page in the container of the Containers Preview Options icon you selected: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Skin Options Skin Previews.

  10. Click on the item text you want to edit: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Skin Options Skin Preview Item Text to Edit.

  11. Verify that the correct item text (the Header, in this example) you want to edit appears in the dropdown: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Skin Options Item Text Dropdown.

  12. Navigate through the tabs and make changes as appropriate: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Skin Options Item Options Tabs.

  13. When you are done editing, click the Save Changes button: Web Central Design Center Theme Manager Skin Options Save Changes Button.
