This article will show you how to enable Department-Only Search for the Search Widget. You must create an option set and enable this behavior. Department-Only Search displays an option to search only the currently viewed department if enabled on a Department Header Page.

Instructions
Navigate to Modules and on the Site Tools tab, select Design Center
In the Design Center, select Widget Manager
Select the Search option in the Widget Types menu:
Click the Add New Option Set (+) icon to add a new option set, or click to select an existing option set:
If you create a new option set, you must enter a Name and click Create Option Set
Navigate to the Behavior tab
Check the Enable Department-Only Search
Note:
This will display an option to search only the currently viewed department if on a Department Header Page.
Click the Save button
