Training Preparation

  • Create a Training Group

    • Set up a back-end training group on your website platform.

    • Add all designated trainers or trainees to this group.

  • Set Up a Training Page

    • Create a dedicated training page for hands-on practice.

    • Assign appropriate editing permissions to trainees.

    • This page can be hidden or placed under your Training & Resources section (/72).

  • Communicate in Advance

    • Send an email to trainees that includes:

      • Training date, time, and location (virtual or classroom)

      • Objectives and topics to be covered

      • Pre-training materials (such as videos, guides, and PowerPoint slides)

Training Environment

Choose between a classroom and a virtual environment. Tailor the setup accordingly:

Classroom Training

  • Project the website onto a large screen for visibility.

  • Ensure all participants:

    • Bring laptops

    • Are logged into the website platform

Virtual Training

  • Ensure familiarity with the video conferencing tool (such as Zoom or Teams)

  • Recommend all attendees:

    • Use dual monitors (one for watching, one for practicing)
