Import Facilities

Important Notes:

  • Imported file must be of type .CSV

  • Row one must include the label of the field

  • Features must be the last column(s) with one feature per column

  • Use the Template CSV attached in the Files section of this article (or the labeled Example File on the Import screen) to view the format of the CSV file for successful import

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Facilities:The Modules drop-down menu on the Content tab with the Facilities module highlighted.

  3. Click Import Facilities:The Facilities module with the Import Facilities button highlighted.

  4. If you have not yet completed a Facility Import Template, download the file from the Files section of this page, or click the Example File link on the Import Facilities window:

    Notes for Completing the Template:

    • For any fields that you do not wish to import, simply leave them blank

    • Respond yes or no to fields that require a yes/no response:

      • Specify Hours of Operation

      • Allow Public Reservations

      • Allow Automatic Reservations

      • Has Calendar

      • Show Directions in Google

      • Show Directions in Yahoo

      • Show Directions in Bing

  5. If you have already completed a Facility Import Template, click Choose File:The Import Facilities pop-up window with the Choose File button highlighted.

  6. Select and open your completed template from your computer

  7. Select Publish all imported facilities if you want to automatically publish all items to live view:The Import Facilities pop-up box with the Publish All Imported Facilities checkbox highlighted and filled.

  8. Click Import:The Import Facilities pop-up box with the Import button highlighted.
