Import Redirects

This article will show you how to import redirects using a CSV file.

Format Rules

  • The imported file must be a .CSV file type

  • The first row must include the label of the field

  • The following fields are required: Domain Name, Link From, Link To

  • Link From: This is the internal page that needs to be redirected. Enter a relative URL.

  • Link To: Either the full URL or a relative URL (starting with a '/') is acceptable.

  • Retain URL, Retain Query String, Retain Path, Match Query String: These are True/False fields.

  • Start Date and End Date must be in 'MM/DD/YYYY' format.

Use the Template CSV in the Files section (or labeled Example File on the Import screen) to view the format of the CSV file for successful import.


Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Site Tools tab, select Redirects:The Modules drop-down menu expanded, on the Site Tools tab, with the Redirects option highlighted.

  3. Click the Import Redirects button:The Redirects screen with the Import Redirects button highlighted.

  4. Click Choose File:The Import Redirects from CSV pop-up window with the Choose File button highlighted.

  5. Select and open a file from your computer

  6. Select Automatically publish all imported data? if you want to automatically publish all items to live view:The Import Redirects from CSV pop-up window with the 'Automatically publish all imported data?' radio button highlighted.
