Link a Staff Directory in the Editor Widget

It is possible to place a link to a Staff Directory department or employee into the Editor Widget on your site. This may be done to create a list of links to City Council members, Parks & Rec, Fire, or Police Departments, and more.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author  

Instructions

1. Navigate to Modules, Content, and select Staff Directory

2. Hover your cursor over the desired department or employee and select Copy Link

3. Click Copy next to the first URL

4. Navigate to your desired page and ensure that Live Edit is ON

5. Add an Editor Widget to your page

6. Click the Insert Link icon

7. Paste the copied URL

8. Add the link Text

9. Click Insert

10. Click the green checkmark to exit the widget and view your link

11. Click Save
