Web Central and Meeting Select Integrated Search Overview

The search capabilities within Web Central have traditionally provided the ability to perform a search query within Web Central only. The search function would query site content and include some additional advanced search features, such as keyword search and content type filters.

To benefit our Web Central customers who also subscribe to CivicClerk, we have enhanced the Web Central search capabilities to integrate with Agenda and Meeting Management Select. So, in addition to the traditional Web Central site content search, the integrated search capability allows you to extend your search query into Agenda and Meeting Management Select and view the search query results in a format familiar to Agenda and Meeting Management Select customers. All without leaving Web Central.

Functions

• Integration. Exposes the ability for Web Central to have basic visibility into Agenda and Meeting Management Select.​

• Search. From within Web Central, perform a search of Agenda and Meeting Management Select that returns a listing of results.  ​

• Search Query Types. Enables search into Agenda and Meeting Management Select's:

  • Agendas

  • Items

• Open and View. Select an item within the search results to open the selected material from within Agenda and Meeting Management Select.
