Content Templates are part of Municipal Websites Evolve. They give you full control over how your content displays when viewed on its own, such as through search results or a "see more" link. You can decide exactly which fields show, where they are placed, and how they are styled, using a drag-and-drop builder. No coding is required.
For example, an Employee content type could display a photo at the top, followed by a name and title, with a formatted biography below. There are endless configurations available, so you can design the layout that best fits how you want each content type to appear on your site.
This guide shows you how to build a content template.
Important Note:
Before you can use Content Templates, you will need to set up Content Aliases. Learn more about Content Aliases, or how to create and manage a Content Type URL Alias.
