Released Enhancements
Restrictive CORS Policy Enforced for Identity-Server Requests
Cross-origin requests to authenticate are now limited to trusted CivicPlus domains.
Improved Search Result Relevancy
We’ve introduced updates to the internal search relevancy algorithm used within Evolve’s page-editing workflow. These improvements make it easier and faster for users to locate the correct content when updating a page. Enhancements include better weighting of matching fields and more accurate ranking of search results, reducing noise and improving overall discoverability of content.
Expanded Search Configuration Options in HCMS
Administrators now have greater control over how content is indexed and surfaced across both internal search and public-facing site search. New configuration capabilities in HCMS include:
Define Content Title for Search
Specify the title field used during indexing. This ensures that both internal editors and public-site users see clear, meaningful labels in search results.
Include or Exclude Fields from Search Indexing
Determine which fields are searchable by marking them as included or excluded from the index. This influences both internal and public search experiences, allowing teams to fine-tune search behavior, prioritize relevant fields, and prevent non-essential data from affecting result ranking.
These enhancements give teams increased flexibility and control over how search behaves across the entire Evolve + HCMS ecosystem.

OpenGraph Tags
Pages now include OpenGraph metadata automatically, using each page’s title, description, and image to generate tags. This ensures rich link previews when sharing pages on social media or messaging platforms.
