Best Practices

It is best practice to have the settings as follows:

  • Do Not Retain URL

  • HTTP 301

  • Do Not Retain Query String

  • Do Not Retain Path

  • Select Match Query String

Import Redirects

Format Rules

  • The imported file must be a .CSV file type

  • The first row must include the label of the field

  • The following fields are not required: ID, Created Date, Created By, Modified By, Last Modified, StartDate, EndDate

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Site Tools and select RedirectsSite Tools menu with Redirects selected.

  3. Click the Main tab Main tab.

  4. Select the Import button Import button.

  5. Click or drag to add a CSV file Upload file.

    Note:

    Click the Example File link to download an import template.

  6. Select and open a .CSV file from your computer

  7. Click ConfirmConfirm button.

Export Redirects

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Site Tools and select RedirectsSite Tools menu with Redirects selected.

  3. Click the Main tab Main tab.

  4. Select the Export button Export button.

  5. An Excel file will download immediately with the redirect information
