This article discusses how to create content and add it to your {{variable.Municipal Websites Evolve}} site. Content can also be created in your HCMS.

Create Content

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (submit for approval)

Sign in to your site
Navigate to your page
Select the Content tab and click Add Content:
Select the Content Type from the drop-down:
Note:
Content Types can be created and managed in your {{glossary.HCMS}}. This list of content types available only shows what that user has access to create.
Select the Permission Set that can manage the content:
Fill out the fields for the content:
Note:
The available fields will differ depending on the selected Content Type.
Click the arrow next to Save and select Save and Change to Published:
Note:
If you wish to save the content in Draft mode, click the Save button.
Choose the published options and click Confirm:
- Scheduling: Choose to publish the content immediately or schedule to publish on a future date.
- Notify Your Users: You can choose whether or not to notify users who have subscribed to a list associated with the selected HCMS Category.
The content will now be displayed in the left panel. Drag and drop it on your page:
Configure the Widget and content options, as needed:
Click the Save Changes button at the top of the page:

Modify Content

Sign in to your site
Navigate to your page
Select the Content tab and find the content you wish to edit:
Click Actions and then Modify next to the content item:
Make changes to the content, as needed:
Click Save:
Note:
To change the content status, click the drop-down arrow next to the Save button:
Choose the content options and click Confirm:
- Scheduling: Choose to publish the content immediately or schedule to publish on a future date.
- Notify Your Users: You can choose whether or not to notify users who have subscribed to a list associated with the selected HCMS Category.

Delete Content

Sign in to your site
Navigate to your page
Select the Content tab and find the content you wish to remove:
Click Actions and then Delete next to the content item:
Click Delete on the warning pop-up:
