Clear the Cache for Immediate Updates

This article explains how users can trigger an immediate cache clear for Custom Content Panes. To do this, edit and save a pane without making any changes. The queued clear typically takes 3 to 5 minutes. After that, updates will appear on the site.

Who can use this feature?

Site Admin Users

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. From the Admin menu, select Structure:

  3. Click Custom Content Panes:

  4. Edit any of the content panes from the list, as needed:

  5. Click the Save button without making any changes:

  6. The cache clear has been queued. The process should take 3 to 5 minutes to complete. You can check back to view your new changes:

    A notification about cache clearing and updates in the citizen action center.
