Configure Draft Data Retention Policy

This article will show you how to set up a Draft Data Retention policy for your account. Enabling drafts requires CivicPlus to store data to sync drafts across devices.

Important Notes

  • The drafts feature will be unavailable to your app users until you set up a retention policy.

  • The Draft Retention Policy restarts each time a user saves the draft.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Administration and select Account Account menu.

  3. Under Draft Data, select Edit PolicyEdit policy.

  4. Check Yes, store draft data to store draft data in accordance with our Data Storage Disclaimer Store draft data.

  5. To change the draft data retention policy, select CustomCustom policy.

  6. Specify the number of Days the draft data should be stored or select Forever to have it stored indefinitely days to store

  7. Click SaveSave button.
