Configure Draft Data Retention Policy

This article will show you how to set up a Draft Data Retention policy for your account. Enabling drafts requires CivicPlus to store data to sync drafts across devices.

Important Notes

  • The drafts feature will be unavailable to your app users until you set up a retention policy.

  • The Draft Retention Policy restarts each time a user saves the draft.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Click the workspace menu and select Settings

  3. Select AccountAdministration menu with Account selected in the sub-menu.

  4. Under Draft Data, select Edit PolicyEdit Policy button on the Draft Data card.

  5. Check Yes, store draft data to store draft data in accordance with our Data Storage DisclaimerCivicPlus draft data retention policy with option to store draft data selected.

  6. To change the draft data retention policy, select CustomDraft data retention policy settings with the Custom button highlighted.

  7. Specify the number of Days the draft data should be stored or select Forever to have it stored indefinitelyCivicPlus data retention policy settings with a highlighted input for storage duration.

  8. Click SaveThe Save button on the edit policy pop-up.
