Configure Prefill Data Retention Policy

Prefill data is used for approvals, jobs, and any custom pre-filled data. Enabling prefill submission data (recommended with the Jobs feature) requires CivicPlus to store data in order for app users to download forms with partially complete inputs. This article will show you how to set up a retention policy in order to enable prefilling forms.

Important Note

The prefilling forms feature will be unavailable to your app users until you set up a retention policy.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select the Workspace menu and click Settings

  3. Select AccountAdministration menu with Account selected in the sub-menu.

  4. Select Edit Policy on the Prefill Data cardEdit Policy button on the Prefill Data card.

  5. Check Yes, store prefill data to store prefill data in accordance with our Data Storage DisclaimerThe checkbox for storing prefill data.

  6. To change the prefill data retention policy, select CustomThe Custom button on the prefill data retention policy.

  7. Specify the number of Days the prefill data should be stored or select Forever to have it stored indefinitelyInput field for data storage duration with options for days or forever.

  8. Click SaveThe Save button on the edit policy pop-up.
