CardPointe EMV Hardware Serial Number

This article walks through how to find the Hardware Serial Number (HSN) for supported CardPointe devices. The HSN will be displayed in the Available Terminals drop-down during the EMV checkout process. If you have multiple devices, knowing the HSN will help you select the appropriate device.

Select a device from the drop-down on the CardPointe EMV screen.

Clover Mini

The device normally boots up in Customer Mode.

When in Customer Mode, touch all four corners of the screen at the same time to get to Admin Mode.
Once in Admin Mode, select the Admin Panel option
On the Admin Panel, the Hardware Serial Number (HSN) is located on the left middle of the screen below the Connection Status.
Note:
The identifier at the bottom right of the Admin Mode screen is not the HSN.
