Create a New Team

This article will show you how to create a new Team within League Management.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Activities and then select League Management:

2. Expand a League:

3. Select Access League Management (basketball) icon next to a session

4. Select the Teams tab:

5. Click on the Create New Team button:

6. Click on the Team Name box to create a team name:

   Note:

   The new team name will always default to A new team.

7. Configure additional options for the team:

   Note:

   The available columns may differ depending on how your league session is set up.

   • Roster: View and invite players to the roster

   • Coaches: Assign coaches to a team

   • Division: If you have created divisions for the league, assign those to individual teams

   • Home Location: Choose a home location for the team from the drop-down menu

     Note:

     The Home Location field may not be available until after a Coach is chosen.
