Point of Sale (POS) items can be created to sell items that are not direct programs or services of the Parks and Recreation Department such as concessions or gift cards.

When to Use

POS Items can be used to create various items within Recreation Management. These can include:

  • Concessions

  • Gift Cards

  • Admissions

  • Other Various Merchandise or Revenue

How to Apply

While learning how to utilize POS Item Management, you may experience areas where you have questions. If you have any questions or run into issues, please keep track of them so your CivicPlus representative may address them.

Please complete the following:

Build POS Groups and Screens

Create POS items and assign them to the appropriate groups and screens

Practice entering Inventory if you have decided to track it

Assign screens to appropriate Merchandise Catalog Tabs

Practice selling POS Items in the catalog
