This article will show you how to create a Deposit in Recreation Management. You can use these for things like deposits for rentals and facilities.
Important Note
If you haven’t already you may need to create an Addon for Facility Rental Deposit. To create an Addon see our Create a Fee Add-on article. When creating your Addon on it will need to be a Custom Addon and Refundable selected within the configuration.
Instructions
Log in to Recreation Management
Navigate the the Facilities tab, then select Facilities List

Find the Location with the appropriate Facility and expand by clicking on the line item

Click the edit icon on the facility where you want to add the deposit

Go to the Addons/Discounts tab

Click the Add Add-on button

Use the Select an Add-on drop down menu to select your deposit

Fill the amount of the deposit. Use either a dollar amount or a percentage of the rental Fee

Choose the GL code

Use the In-House drop down menu to select when the deposit is due rent the facility in person

Can Optionally Be Paid After Initial Checkout: This option allows people to pay the deposit at a separate time from when they check out.
Payment at Checkout Not Allowed - Must Pay Later: This option forces people to pay the deposit at a separate time from when they check out.
Required to Be Paid At Initial Checkout: This option required the deposit to be made in order to checkout.
Use the Online drop down menu to select when the deposit is due if they rent the facility online.
