Family Membership Checkout Flow is designed to make managing Family Memberships faster, easier, and more convenient than ever, giving residents a self-service way to assign household members right at checkout while giving your staff the controls to manage participant limits and eligibility
How It Works
With Family Membership Checkout Flow, your organization can:
Allow staff and residents to select eligible household members to include on a Family Membership during checkout or renewal
Automatically enforce eligibility rules; including age, residency, gender, prerequisites, and other configured restrictions
Set maximum adult and child limits per Family Membership in session settings, alongside the existing Max Cards per Household Setting
Give staff the ability to override eligibility, add non-account members, or skip and assign participants later
Automatically create Digital Membership Cards for all selected members once checkout is complete
Log all member additions, removals, and eligibility overrides for audit purposes in the Action Log
Why This Matters
Today, assigning participants to a Family Membership is a separate, manual process - residents can't do it themselves, and staff are left fielding follow-up requests after the transaction is complete. Family Membership Checkout Flow puts that step directly into checkout:
Residents can configure their membership in one step, without needing to call or visit the front desk

Example
A resident purchases a family pool membership online. During checkout, they’re prompted to select which household members to include. Eligibility rules are applied automatically, the resident sees who qualifies, completes the purchase with all participants assigned, and Digital Membership Cards are created for each selected member. No staff follow-up needed.
