Public User Activity Refunds on the Public Page

Public can now Refund Activities on the Public Page within the Transaction History tab in an Account. This new feature allows Public Users to self-serve and cancel a registration if allowed. 

To set up this feature within an activity: 

  1. Navigate to the Activities Tab  Rec Activities tab.png

  2. Create a Session or Edit a Session

  3. Select the Advanced TabRec Activity Session Advanced Tab.png

  4. Click the box next to Public Refund  Rec Activity Session Advanced Public Refund Check.png

  5. Once the box is checked a Refund Timeframe selection will appear. Use this to select when public users can refund a Session within a specific timeframe before the Session's scheduled start Date and Time.  Rec Activity Session Refund TimeFrame Options.png

    Note: When the session start time is past, the public user will not be able to refund a session. Except for a Drop-In Activity or Daily Pricing configuration that allows cancellation of a spot on the Roster before the registered time slot, when it falls within the Session Start and End Date.

Note: This feature is only applicable for the following Activity Types: league, Program/Class, Event, Drop-In, Camps, Afterschool Membership, Donation, Package, and Merchandise. Ticket Activity Types are excluded when a Session is refunded by a Public User. The amount will go back to the Public User as a User Credit only.
