Change a Channel

Organization members will only see agent channels when starting a conversation. After the conversation is created, if it needs to be forwarded to another channel, then those options will become available. The intended purpose is to log the conversation first and then follow up if needed.

Instructions

  1. Click the New , and then the Conversation option:New Conversation.

  2. Input the details into the Message field:Message details.

  3. Select a Constituent:Search for a constituent.

  4. Select a Channel:Select a channel.

  5. Input a Summary:Conversation summary.

  6. Select Start a New Conversation:Start new conversation button.

  7. Select Conversations from the navigation bar, then select the desired Conversation from the Conversations List:Select desired conversation.

  8. Select Reply:Reply button.

  9. From the dropdown menu, select the new channel you'd like to use:New conversations channel.

  10. Input the details into the message field:New conversation details.

  11. Select Send:send converstaion via new channels.
