External Sign-In

Using an external sign-in service allows you to log in to your CivicPlus account using the same login information that you use for your Apple, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft account.

Important Notes

  • This feature is disabled for all Platform IdP-integrated users.

  • Multiple external sign-in services can be added to the same account.

Create an Account with External Sign In

  1. Navigate to the account page

  2. Select an external sign-in optionExternal sign in buttons.

  3. Sign in with an existing Apple, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft account

    Note:

    Users cannot be created with existing CivicPlus user email addresses. External Sign In must be added through Manage Account. Microsoft accounts controlled through Active Directory may not be permitted by your Organization.


Add or Remove External Sign-In on an Existing Account

  1. Log in to your CivicPlus account Sign in screen.

  2. Select the Password & Security tab Password and Security tab in left navigation menu.

  3. Scroll down to Manage Your External Logins and select Apple, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft to be able to sign in with those credentials External Logins options.

  4. Sign in with an existing account on the external sign-in screen

    Note:

    Microsoft accounts controlled through Active Directory may not be permitted by your Organization.

  5. If successfully added, the external sign-in will be listed and can be removed under Registered Logins

    Note:

    Multiple external sign-in services can be added to the same account.
