Upcoming Marketplace Mobile App Update | February 2025

Prev Next

We're excited to release new features to marketplace mobile apps (applications) in February.

Customers must ensure that the following items are completed by Monday, February 10, 2025, in order to be included in the bulk update and not risk removal from app stores:

Apple requires that Developers now comply with the European Union (EU) Digital Services Act by February 17, 2025. This requires all Developers to provide their trader status to submit new apps or app updates. If a Developer doesn't distribute apps on the App Store in the EU (for example, you only distribute apps on the App Store only outside the EU), you're not acting as a trader on the App Store. CivicPlus will limit distribution of mobile apps to only within the United States and Canada and, if needed, related customer countries. If CivicPlus has the Admin role in the Apple Developer account, then we will assist customers by submitting a non-trader status by the deadline. You can update this information anytime using the Apple Developer account. If we do not have this role, then your organization is required to update this information by February 17, 2025.

This release includes:

  • Improved branding: The non-customer branded pages are updated to more neutral colors and iconography

  • ArcGIS maps: Utilizing ArcGIS maps (instead of Google Maps or Apple Maps) to unify maps used with SeeClickFix 311 CRM and improve location accuracy

  • Accessibility improvements

  • Bug fixes

If you want to see these new features, download the SeeClickFix 311 CRM mobile app (available on Google Play and Apple), which already has these items released.
