Deactivating an Account in the Archive

Deactivating an account stops it from actively archiving or takes it out of error/disconnected status, and marks the account as historical.

Important Notes

  • The account and all records captured from it are retained in the archive.

  • To deactivate you must be a Full Access System Administrator.

  • If you should need an account reactivated for any reason, please reach out to our Support team.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your Archive

  2. Navigate to your Configure Tab:The Configure tab in the top navigation menu.

  3. Locate the Account Owner of the social media account you want to deactivate and click Connect Accounts:Connect Accounts button next to a user.

  4. Click the Deactivate button next to the desired account
    Deactivate icon next to an account.

  5. Click the checkbox to acknowledge the disclaimer, and then click Deactivate & set historicalThe I acknowledge and have read the disclaimer checkbox and the Deactivate and set historical button.
