Tagging Records

Tagging is a keyword or phrase used to group content together. Tagging can be used to make content easier to find. Multiple tags can be added to a single record, or a single tag can be added to multiple records (bulk tagging).

Important Notes

  • Deleted content is automatically tagged as deleted in the archive.

  • Hidden content (Facebook page comments and Facebook posts) is automatically tagged as hidden in the archive.

  • Edited content is automatically tagged as edited in the archive. Previous versions of the record can be viewed.

  • Tags can be added or deleted, system tags cannot be removed by the user

  • To Edit a tag, you must delete the old one and add a new one.

System Administrators

Tagging a Single Record

  1. Navigate to the Browse tab:The Browse tab in the top navigation menu.

  2. Select the :An example Account Owner for tag.

  3. Select the appropriate Social Media Account:Example social media account.

  4. Click View on the Record Type of your choice:View button.

  5. Locate and click on the record you'd like to tag:An example record.

  6. On the following Record Details pop-up, under Tag, click Add:The Add button.

  7. To select an existing tag, use the drop-down menu:Enter or select tag dropdown.

  8. To create a new tag, type the tag name in:Tag Name field.

  9. Click Add:Add button.

  10. The tag will populate immediately:Example tag view.

Note:

All deleted content on Facebook is automatically tagged as deleted in the archive.


Tagging Multiple Records at a Time

  1. Under the Dashboard tab, run a Quick Search for the desired records:Quick search or Advanced Search text box.

  2. On the Search Results page, click on Tag Results in the upper left corner:Tag Results option.

  3. Choose an existing tag from the drop-down or create a new tag:The Enter or select a tag dropdown.

  4. Click Add:Add button in the lower left corner of the Tag Results box.

  5. The tag will automatically be applied to all the records produced in the search:Tags applied pop-up.
