Top Commenters Report

This report lists the top 10 users who most frequently communicate with you across your social media accounts. Users can click on the total activity to view a breakdown of the types of content each user posted. This report can be scoped by date range and account.

This report is available through our Risk Management and Analytics add-on suite.


How Can It Be Used?

This report is a great way for communications teams to identify their most vocal followers, including frequent trolls and champions. When identifying trolls, agencies will have a greater chance to manage these interactions accordingly. Alternatively, this report allows the agencies the ability to see the champions of their pages. Since champions post mostly positive content, they can often be difficult to identify.


How Do You Access and Use It?

  1. Log into your archive.

  2. Click on the Reports tab:The Reports tab in the top navigation menu.

  3. Select View under the Top Commenters Report:The View button below the Top Commenters heading.

  4. Use the Date Range drop-down menu to choose your date range:The Date Range dropdown for the Top Commenters report.

  5. Select your Scope (either all accounts in your archive OR specific accounts) for your report:The scope radio buttons for the Top Commenters report.

  6. Click Generate report:The Generate Report button which can be clicked to generate the Top Commenters report.

  7. Once generated, the table will list the 10 users who communicated with your accounts the most. Clicking on the Total Activity link next to each user allows you to view a more detailed breakdown of the types of content each user posted:The Total Activity column.

  8. You can also click on the Show Details links below to reveal the content breakdown:Show details links to the right of user names.
