Utility Billing and Tyler Cashiering have a bi-directional integration that allows for in-person payments to be posted to Utility Billing. In Tyler Cashiering, you can look up invoices by account number, barcode, invoice ID, or customer ID. One or more results will display, and from there you can take an in-person payment and automatically post it back to Utility Billing.
Capabilities
With this integration, you can:
Look up invoices from Utility Billing inside of Tyler Cashiering by scanning a barcode printed on the bill or searching by invoice ID, account number, or customer ID
Take a payment in person have it automatically be posted to Utility Billing
Void a transaction in Tyler Cashiering, and it will be voided in both systems. Once the batch is closed, refunds will need to be applied in both systems separately.
Take partial payments
Take a mix of tenders in a single payment
Flag customers as cash only
