Create Recurring Events

There may be times when you would like to block off time on an individual’s calendar, such as lunch, breaks, holidays, and vacation time. Recurring Events can be used to show that a user can’t be scheduled at consistent times.

Who can use this feature?

You must be an admin of a crew.

Instructions

  1. Sign In to Asset Management

  2. Click the Schedule tab
    The Schedule tab in the left navigation menu.

  3. Double-click on the individual’s calendar

  4. Complete the fields

    • Title: Type a title for the time block

    • Start: Type the start date and time of the time block

    • End: Type the end date and time of the time block

    • Assigned User: The user is pre-populated based on where you clicked

  5. Check the Recurring box
    The Recurring checkbox in the time block modal.

  6. Select a pattern

    • Daily: The time block recurs every set number of days
      The Recur every number of days input field when the Daily recurring pattern is selected.

    • Weekly: The time block will recur every set number of weeks on the selected days
      The Recur every number of weeks and day of the week selectors for the Weekly recurring pattern.

    • Monthly: The time block will either recur on a set day of the month every number of months, such as the third day of the month every 1 month, OR recur on a set day of the week on the first, second, third, fourth, or last week of the month every number of months, such as the second Monday of the month every 2 months

    • Yearly: The time block will recur once a year on the selected day and month, such as July 4th, OR on a set day of the week on the first, second, third, fourth, or last week of the month every year, such as the third Thursday every November

  7. Click SaveThe Save button in the time block input fields modal.

  8. The modal will close, and the time block will appear on the calendar
