Mass Update

Mass Update is a tool that allows you to update shared attributes, such as classification, crew, or lifecycle stage, for multiple assets or events at once.

Important Notes

• Use filters to pre-select records before launching the Mass Update tool to ensure you are editing relevant items.

• Fields left blank will remain unchanged

Instructions

1. Use the Query tab to filter to the desired assets

2. Select Query Actions
   

3. Select Mass Update
   

4. Select either Asset or Event
   

   Note:

   You may see Asset, Event, or both depending on the Query selected.

5. Complete the fields
   

   Note:

   • The fields present are dependent on the Query selected and may not reflect the example image.

   • Examples of fields include:

     • Life Cycle

     • Classification

     • Model

     • Serial

     • Manufacturer

6. Click Save
   

7. Confirm your changes
   

   Note:

   Click Cancel to cancel changes so they do not apply.
