Recurrence Spray and Recurrence Group Spray allow you to apply repeating events based on a schedule.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your solution

  2. Use the Query tab to filter to the desired assets:

  3. Select Query Actions:The expanded Query Menu with the 'Query Actions' button selected.

  4. Select Recurrence Spray or Recurrence Group Spray:List of query actions with 'Recurrence Spray' and 'Recurrence Group Spray' highlighted.

  5. Fill in the recurrence spray’s Title

  6. Click Create New next to the Base Event Selection field:The 'Create New' button highlighted on a Recurrence Spray item.

  7. Select an Event Type:A list of Event Types, with 'Inspection' highlighted.

  8. Fill in the event’s information fields:

    • Basic Information:

      • Name: Enter a name for the event or leave blank to be filled by autoincrements.

      • Maintenance Type: Select the appropriate type from the dropdown list.

      • Crew: Choose the assigned crew.

      • Assigned To: Assign the event to an individual or team.

      • Status: This field defaults to Pending (the default can be changed).

      • Priority: Set the event priority (like 3).

      • Supervisor: Assign a supervisor if needed.

      • Work Order: Enter a related work order, if applicable.

    • Scheduling Information:

      • Planned Date: Select the intended date for the spray event, such as 05/14/2025.

      • Actual Date: Leave blank unless the event has occurred.

      • Scheduled Time & Actual Time: Optional; enter times if needed.

      • Duration: Select how long the event is expected to take.

  9. Add Resources, if needed:

    1. Click New under the Time section to add:

      • Date

      • User

      • Duration

      • Wage Code

      • Note

    2. Click New under the Material section to input:

      • Component

      • Part

      • Unit Cost

      • Quantity

      • Cost

      • Note

  11. Select Change Schedule next to Schedule Selection:A 'Change Schedule' button highlighted on a recurring spray event.

  12. Select a Schedule Type:
    The 'Fixed' Schedule Type, selected and highlighted in the Schedule Picker.

    • Fixed: Events occur at regular, predetermined intervals based on the calendar (example: every Monday, the 1st of each month, quarterly). This is best for time-sensitive events or compliance-related checks that must occur regardless of usage.

    • Floating: Events are scheduled based on the last completed date of the previous event; the next due date "floats" depending on when the last event was done.

      • For example, a piece of equipment is serviced every 30 days after the last service was completed. If a service is delayed, the next one shifts forward accordingly.

    • Date selection:

    • Frequency: Your options will change based on the frequency selected:

  13. Click the View Schedule button to get a preview of your schedule selection:The 'View Schedule' button on the Schedule Picker page.

  15. Click Submit:
