Who can use this feature?
Organization Owners
Select AI Agents in the navigation menu
Select Resident Agents
Select the applicable agent from the list or create a new agent
Configure the agent’s Display URL(s)
Note:
The Display URL dictates the base link on which the agent can be embedded.
This field may not be left blank.
This field reduces the risk of bad actors attempting to embed a widget onto a website that is not on the allowed list.
Hidden paths are optional, and dictate any subpages on which the widget is not to display. Leave the field empty if you wish the agent to appear on all paths. Use a comma to separate multiple paths.
Click Save to save any changes
Click Embed Code
Copy the code that is generated to your clipboard
Note:
The embed code may only be embedded onto the websites dictated by the Display URL.
Embed the Agent on Web Evolve
Important Note
Adding an embed script to a website only needs to happen once. Any subsequent changes to an agent will automatically show on the embedded agent upon saving. While it’s possible to add an embed script to a website before the agent has been fully configured, do this with caution on public sites, as any changes made after embedding may be visible to public users.
Who can use this feature?
System Administrators
Navigate to Site Tools and select Site Properties
Scroll to Footer Script, and add the agent’s embed script to the bottom, after any existing footer scripts
Click Save Properties
Navigate to the home page and confirm the agent’s button displays on the screen
Note:
If needed, make any adjustments to the position of the agent or other widgets such as Google Translate or AudioEye to avoid overlapping.
