Request or Cancel an Inspection on the Citizen Portal

This article shows how users can request or cancel an inspection using the Citizen Portal.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the portal and select Inspections:The Citizen Portal dashboard displays navigation options for inspections.

  2. Enter the Permit Number:Instructions for entering a permit number and scheduling inspections on the citizen portal.

  3. The permit information will display. Select the Next button: A permit inspection request form with a highlighted 'Next' button and instructions for users.

  4. View Upcoming and Completed inspections for the permit: An inspection scheduling interface showing upcoming and completed inspections with actions available.

  5. To modify an upcoming inspection, select the Reschedule or Cancel links: A table displaying upcoming inspections with options to reschedule or cancel each inspection.

  6. To schedule a new inspection, select Schedule a New Inspection:Instructions for scheduling inspections and viewing upcoming inspection details. The schedule a new inspection link is highlighted.

  7. Select an Inspection Type. Select up to three dates for the inspection to occur. Then add a description of the inspection being requested:

    A form for requesting or canceling inspections with fields for permit and inspection details.

  8. Click Submit to process your inspection request:The submit button is highlighted.

  9. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click OK to close:

    A confirmation message indicating request submission with an 'OK' button to proceed.
