Add Mass Notification Application Credentials

The Staff Center supports the storage and access of Application Credentials for the Mass Notification. Organization Owners are able to add a credential to an existing Application. The credentials enable integrations in the Integration Hub.

Credentials may also be set up by CivicPlus staff to connect your Mass Notification System with the Resident Portal.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the Staff Center

  2. Navigate to the Applications tab The Applications option in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Select Actions and then Manage Credentials next to a Mass Notification application The Manage credentials option for a Mass Notification application.

  4. Click New CredentialThe New Credentials button on the credentials page.

  5. Add a Name for the credential Form field for entering a new credential name.

  6. Select the Credential TypeThe Credential Type drop-down on the Mass Notification credentials page.

  7. Fill out the remaining fields. These will differ depending on the Credential Type selected above.

    • API Key:Form fields for entering API credentials including type, key, and URL.

      • API Key: This can be obtained from Support.

      • URL: Select Production from the drop-down

    • Tenant: Add the Client ID, Client Secret, and Tenant ID from SupportForm fields for entering Client Id, Client Secret, and Tenant Id credentials.

  8. Click SaveThe Save button on the Mass Notification credentials page.
