The Calendar module in {{variable.CivicPlus Mobile}} allows residents to view upcoming events within their local area. They can filter events by type or category, share events via social media or {{glossary.SMS}}, add events to their calendar, and find locations and directions to events.

Featured events will be displayed as large cards in the Calendar module.

Add an Event to a Phone Calendar

The Calendar module allows you to save events from {{variable.CivicPlus Mobile}} directly into your phone's calendar. This allows you to set reminders and plan your schedule around the events you are interested in.

Navigate to the Modules Menu
Select the Calendar module:
Select your desired event:
Select the Save to Calendar icon:
Respond OK to the pop-up window:
View the event in your phone's calendar:

Apply Filters in the Calendar Module

The filter in the Calendar module allows you to filter calendar events by type and toggle featured events.

Navigate to the Modules Menu
Select the Calendar module icon:
Click the filter options icon
Set your desired filters:
Note: Toggling Only Show Featured Events will only show featured events
Click the Apply button:
View the filtered calendar results:

Change Calendar View

You may view the calendar in a daily view or a monthly view. This article will show you how to toggle between these two views. The default calendar view is daily.

Navigate to the Modules Menu
Tap the Calendar module icon:
Tap the Monthly View (calendar) icon in the top right corner:
View the Monthly Calendar:
Note: In the monthly view dates with an event are displayed with a green dot.

Get Directions to an Event

Tap the Calendar module icon:
Apply filters, if necessary
Tap to select your desired event:
Tap the Directions button for the event:
View directions in your phone's map app

Share an Event

{{variable.CivicPlus Mobile}} allows you to share events directly to your social media platforms, social apps, email, and {{glossary.SMS}}.

Navigate to the Modules Menu
Tap the Calendar module icon:
Tap your desired Event:
Click the Share icon:
Select your desired delivery method:
