When working with our Support team or troubleshooting an issue, it is helpful to find the version of the tray app that you are using. There are two ways to get this information, one through the tray application itself or through raw data in the transaction details.
Important Note
If the tray app version in the raw response doesn’t match what you have in the About section of your system tray, it could be because a different computer was used to perform the card-present transaction.
Find the Version in the Tray App
Find your system tray
Right-click on the Tray App icon and select About
In the dialog that appears, your tray app Version will be listed
Find the Version in the Raw Data
Find any transaction in the activity log that belongs to a retail gateway configuration
Select the transaction to open Transaction Details
Click on Raw Data
The last item in the raw data will be the TrayAppVersion
