Install the Pay Tray App

This article will show you how to complete the installation process for the Pay Tray App.

Instructions

  1. Download the Pay Tray App

  2. Launch the installer

    1. If you are greeted by the following prompt, click More InfoWindows Defender SmartScreen warning about an unrecognized app potentially putting the PC at risk.

    2. Then click Run anywayWindows Defender SmartScreen warning about unrecognized app with options to run or cancel.

  3. Follow the prompts to install the app Setup wizard for Pay Tray App installation with copyright warning and navigation buttons.

  4. The first time you run the tray app, you must run it as an administrator. If you do not do this, you will receive a reminder. Warning message indicating a security certificate installation is required for the application.

  5. To run the app as an administrator, right-click on the application and select Run as administrator The image shows the Pay Tray App with an option to run as administrator highlighted.

  6. On the first screen, click OK on the window that says, "We're about to install a needed security certificate. If your system asks you whether you want to run the application that follows and install a certificate, please do. Installation prompt for a security certificate in the CP Pay Tray App interface.

  7. You should receive the following notification that says "CP Pay Command listener started" Notification from CP Pay indicating that the command listener has started successfully.

  8. The tray app should now be running in your system tray Windows taskbar with a highlighted Pay Tray Application.

  9. To open the app, right-click on the icon and select SettingsThe Settings option in the Pay Tray menu.

  10. You are now ready to configure the app for your gateway
