The CivicPlus Integration Hub allows administrators to create integrations and automations with their CivicPlus products.
Access Integration Hub
Each CivicPlus Organization comes with an CivicPlus Integration Hub instance which can be found at http://integrations.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin (replace [orgname] with the name of your organization). There is one CivicPlus Integration Hub instance per organization.
If you’re unsure if you have an organization set up or would like to gain access to CivicPlus Integration Hub, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager, or Technical Support to get it turned on.
Permissions
Organization Owners have full access to the CivicPlus Integration Hub. Groups can be assigned permissions. Learn more on our Assign Permissions to Groups article.
What are Triggers and Actions?
In CivicPlus Integration Hub, Triggers and Actions are different parts of your integration.
Triggers are the product where the integration initiates. When something happens in your trigger product, CivicPlus Integration Hub will then facilitate the integration.
Actions are the product/application affected by the integration’s action.
Here’s an example: Let’s say I had an integration set up between my Web Central (formerly CivicEngage Central) website and Mass Notification (formerly CivicReady). This integration is configured so that when a notification is sent through Mass Notification, the Alert Center banner is activated in Web Centrall. In this example, Mass Notification is the Trigger and Web Central is the Action.
