This article will show you how to set up News Flash so that way people can subscribe for push notifications.
Instructions
Log in to the site as a backend user
Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab select News Flash
Locate the Category you would like to set up
Select Properties from the Actions drop-down menu
Set the permission level to Owner for CPMobile API at the module level (Can also be done at the category level as well)
Make sure the settings for Email List and Allow Subscribers are set for Yes, or else it will not load on the app
Open the app on your mobile device and click the gear icon.
Click the dropdown for News Flash and you should now see your news category listed on the app for push notifications.
