Resident Portal Legislation Settings

Administrators will see a Legislation tab on the Resident Portal Settings page. From here, admins can choose what code to populate from their Online Code Hosting instance to show in their Resident Portal, feature code, and add tags.

Who can use this feature?

Organization Owners / Portal Admins

Hide/Show Code

  1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Resident Portal or access the stand-alone Resident Portal

  2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar The Settings tab in the navigation menu of the Resident Portal.

  3. Click the Legislation tab Settings menu highlighting the Legislation tab.

  4. To hide a legislation code so it will no longer show in your Resident Portal, click Actions and choose Hide in PortalThe Hide in Portal option in the Actions drop-down menu.

  5. The meeting will now have an X in the Visible column and it will no longer show on the public Legislation page An X icon in the Visible column for a code.

  6. To add the code back to your Resident Portal, click Actions and choose Show in PortalThe Show in Portal option in the Actions drop-down menu.


Feature Code

  1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Resident Portal or access the stand-alone Resident Portal

  2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar The Settings tab in the navigation menu of the Resident Portal.

  3. Click the Legislation tab Settings menu highlighting the Legislation tab.

  4. Select Actions and choose Feature in Portal next to a code The Feature in Portal option in the Actions drop-down menu.

  5. This will feature the code at the top of the public Legislation tab Legislation page displaying recent updates and Municipal Code information for Civic City.


Add Tags to a Code

  1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Resident Portal or access the stand-alone Resident Portal

  2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar The Settings tab in the navigation menu of the Resident Portal.

  3. Click the Legislation tab Settings menu highlighting the Legislation tab.

  4. Select Actions and choose Edit next to a code Table displaying Municipal Code with the Edit option selected in the Actions drop-down menu.

  5. Scroll down and type or select an existing Portal TagPortal tags section showing 'City Code'.

  6. Click UpdateThe Update button on the edit code screen.
