This article discusses our easier-to-remember solution names and what it means for your account.
For over 25 years, CivicPlus has been focused on a single mission: Make government work better. What started as a passionate and nimble team of government website builders in Manhattan, Kansas, has grown into the Modern Civic Experience Platform, which includes 13 integrable solutions and a global team of community-minded technologists.
As we’ve grown, we want to make it easier for our customers to do business with us, and a significant step in that process is to migrate to more intuitive and easier-to-recall solution names. That’s why, since 2021, we’ve been slowly transitioning to straightforward category names for our solutions:
Former Solution Name | New Category Name |
---|---|
ArchiveSocial | Social Media Archiving |
CivicClerk® | Agenda and Meeting Management Select |
CivicEngage® Central | Municipal Websites Central (Web Central) |
CivicEngage® Evolve | Municipal Websites Evolve (Web Evolve) |
CivicEngage® Open | Municipal Websites Open (Web Open) |
Civicgov | Community Development |
CivicOptimize® | Process Automation and Digital Services |
CivicReady® | Mass Notification System |
CivicRec® | Recreation Management |
Municode | Municode Codification |
Municode Meetings | Agenda and Meeting Management Essential |
MunicodeNext | Online Code Hosting |
SeeClickFix | SeeClickFix 311 CRM |
Today, you’ll see these new solution names reflected in our marketing and customer support communications, and soon, the interfaces of our software and the systems that manage our invoicing and contacts will reflect them, too.
Regardless of what we call our solutions, we’re still the same team of people inspired by the scrappy Kansans of the 90s, committed to partnering with our communities and helping them create positive, digital civic experiences with their residents.
Please contact your Customer Success Manager if you have any questions about these marketing changes.
