The CivicPlus Organization service supports the storage and access of Application Credentials for Web Central (formerly, CivicEngage Central). The Web Central credentials enable centralized Forms and Subscription Lists within the CivicPlus Portal and integrations in the Integration Hub.
Important Notes
More than one credential can be created for an application/product, however, CivicPlus Portal will use the first created credential.
Instructions
- Sign in to CivicPlus Organizations
- Navigate to the Applications tab
- Select Actions and then Manage Credentials next to your Web Central application
- Click New Credential
- Add a Name for the credential and choose the Credential Type
Note: We recommend using the API Key. - Fill out the remaining fields:
- Username and Password: Enter your username and password that are used to sign in to CivicPlus Organizations
- Domain: This will automatically populate with the URL of the application and cannot be edited.
- API Key and Partition: Enter your unique API Key and Partition. If you don’t already have your organization’s API Key and Partition, please contact Support.
- Click Save
