Add & Manage Profile Documentation in Boards and Committees

This article will show you how to add and manage profile documentation within the Boards and Committees module.

Add Documentation to a Profile

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person with the profile you want to add attachments to:An example user name.

  5. Click the Documentation tab:The Documentation tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Click the Add Document button:The green, rectangular Add Document button to the right of the Documentation header.

  7. Fill in the Add Document fields:The File Name and File Type fields on the Add Document modal.

    • File Name: Enter a name for your file

    • File Type: Select a file type from the drop-down list

      Note:

      The file types available will depend on how you have configured the drop-down options.

  8. Click the Select File button to locate and select a file on your computer:The Select File field which includes a blue, rectangular Select File button.

    Note:

    After selection, two new options will appear: Change and Remove:The blue, rectangular Change button and the red, rectangular Remove button to the right of the Select File field with an example file attached.

    • Change: Select a new file to replace the existing file

    • Remove: Delete the file from the system

  9. Click the Save button to add the documentation to the profile:The green, rectangular Save button in the lower-right corner of the Add Document modal.

  10. The file will appear in the Documentation tab with new Edit and Action options:The Edit, Delete, and View buttons to the left of an example document name on the Documentation page.


View Documentation on a Profile

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person with the profile you want to add attachments to:An example user name.

  5. Click the Documentation tab:The Documentation tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Click the View button (green monitor icon) to the left of the documentation you wish to view:The green, square View button to the left of an example document.

  7. The documentation will be downloaded to your device


Edit Documentation for a Profile

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person with the profile you want to add attachments to:An example user name.

  5. Click the Documentation tab:The Documentation tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Click the Edit button (blue pencil icon) to the left of the documentation you wish to edit:The blue, square Edit button for an example document.

  7. Update the Add Document fields:The File Name and File Type fields on the Add Document modal.

    • File Name: Update the name of the file if desired

    • File Type: Select a file type from the dropdown list

      Note:

      The file types available will depend on how you have configured the drop-down options.

  8. Click the Select File button to locate and select a file on your computer:The Select File field which includes a blue, rectangular Select File button.

    Note:

  9. Click the Save button to save your changes to the documentation:The green, rectangular Save button in the lower-right corner of the Add Document modal.

  10. The documentation has been updated:The Edit, Delete, and View buttons to the left of an example document name on the Documentation page.


Delete Documentation from a Profile

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person with the profile you want to add attachments to:An example user name.

  5. Click the Documentation tab:The Documentation tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Click the Delete button (red trash can icon) to the left of the documentation you wish to delete:The red, rectangular Delete button to the left of the example document.

  7. Click the OK button on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:The blue, rectangular OK button on the Google Chrome Confirm Delete popup.

  8. The documentation has been deleted and will no longer appear in the Documentation tab
