Speaker Timer Sound Alert Disabled for No-Time-Limit Speakers
Agenda and Meeting Management Select now disables the speaker timer sound alert when calling speakers who have no time limit. This helps improve clarity during meetings and prevent misleading audio cues. It also ensures that sound alerts are only triggered for timed speaking sessions.
Key Enhancements
No-Time-Limit Awareness: When a speaker is assigned a time value of 0, the system recognizes the session as untimed.
Sound Alert Suppression: If the Speaker Timer Sound Alert setting is enabled, the alert will not play when calling a speaker with no time limit.
Accurate Audio Feedback: Sound alerts are now reserved only for speakers with defined time limits. This ensures that alerts remain meaningful and relevant.
No Impact to Existing Behavior: Speakers with a time value greater than 0 continue to trigger sound alerts as expected.
What to Expect
Clerks and staff will no longer hear unnecessary sound alerts when calling speakers without time limits. This creates a more accurate and less confusing meeting experience. Existing behavior is preserved for timed speakers.
CivicPlus Support Widget Auto-Enabled for All Users
Agenda and Meeting Management Select now auto-enables the CivicPlus Support Widget for all users. This improves access to support and help resources. It also ensures that users can quickly get answers to common questions and guidance directly within the application without needing to leave their workflow.
