Delete a Single Event

This article will show two ways to delete a single event within your Agenda and Meeting Management Select solution.

For instructions on how to delete multiple events at one time, view the Bulk Delete Events article.

Important Note

You can restore deleted events within 30 days of their deletion using the Trash Can feature.

Delete a Single Event from the Events Module Homepage

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the Events module:

    The Events module button in the dashboard's left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Select the event you wish to delete:

  4. Click the Delete button:

  5. Click the Delete Event button on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:

    • If an agenda is associated with the event, a Delete Event dialog with additional completion steps will appear instead of the Delete Event pop-up:

      1. Select a deletion option:
        Three event deletion options that display when an event that is being deleted is associated with an agenda.

        • Delete the Associated Agenda Including Items and Files Associated with This Event: Delete the event and its agenda, items, files, and media

        • Delete Only the Event and Unlink the Agenda (the Date on the Agenda Will Default to 1/1/1900): Delete the event but retain and unlink the associated agenda (the unlinked agenda date will default to January 1, 1900)

        • Delete Only the Event and Link the Associated Agenda to Another Existing Event: Delete the event and link the agenda to a different event

      2. Click the Delete button:

  6. The event has been deleted


Delete an Event from the Edit Event Dialog

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the Events module:

    The Events module button in the dashboard's left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Select the event you wish to delete:

  4. Click the Edit Event button:

  5. Click the Delete Event button:

  6. Click the Delete Event button on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:

    • If an agenda is associated with the event, a Delete Event dialog with additional completion steps will appear instead of the Delete Event pop-up:
