Chair View allows a meeting chair to control the agenda, call speakers, and advance items during a meeting from the Board Portal. It provides additional controls for the chair, enabling them to directly manage the meeting flow using the Board Portal.
This article will show you how to manage Chair View in the Board Portal as the Chair View assignee.
Important Note
Chair View must be enabled and assigned to a user by someone with full access to the Minutes module before it can be used.
A user must have the “Has Access to Board Portal” permission to use Chair View.
Users assigned Chair View should have a proper understanding of the Display Pages and be in sync with the person running the meeting in the Admin Portal.
Instructions
Sign in to the Board Portal if you have not already
On the agenda details page, click the three-dot menu icon next to a Section or Item you wish to work with:

Click the Review button in the menu that appears:

You will be directed to the section or item details page:

Click the Previous Item and Next Item buttons to move through the meeting’s order of business, as desired:

Click the Current Item button to set a section or item as the currently active item for the meeting on the Display Page, if desired:

Note:
The Current Item button will turn red with it has been clicked:

Click the Call Speakers button to open the Call Speakers dialog when there are speakers listed on the details page:

Speakers will be displayed in the speakers list:

Click the Call button to the left of a speaker’s name to begin their speaking session and display their name and timer on the Display Page:

The speaker's name and remaining time will be displayed:

Click a speaker action button, if desired:

End: End the speaker's time
Pause: Temporarily stop the countdown of the speaker's time
Note:
When the Pause button is clicked, it turns into a Resume button. Click Resume to continue the timer countdown:

Add Time: Add a minute to the speaker's time
Reset: Reset the speaker's session and display the Call button again
Speaker names will be stricken through when their speaker time is complete:

Check the Hide Completed Speakers checkbox to remove speakers from the list as their time is completed, if desired:

Click the Clear Remaining button to remove speakers who have not yet been called from the speakers list, if desired:

Click the Next Item/Set Current button to advance the Call Speakers dialog and details page to the next item in the agenda, if desired:

Or click anywhere outside of the Call Speakers dialog to return to the current details page, if desired
Repeat steps 5 through 17 as needed
