This article will show you how to add, modify, or delete a category in the Opinion Poll .
Add an Opinion Poll Category
Who can use this feature?
System Administration | Owner
Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Opinion Polls
Select Add Category
Complete the data fields
Category Name: Title of category
Show Archives: Default will show as Yes or No; leave the setting as the default.
Permissions: Set permissions at the category level.
View: May view the live side only.
Author: Submit new items, and modify/delete unpublished items.
Publisher: new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify published items, and accept/reject submitted items.
Owner: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify/delete published items, accept/reject submitted items, create/modify categories, assign category permissions
Select Save and Publish at the top of the page
Note:
In order to show on the live side, both the category and at least one item in the category must be published. If it still does not show up, ensure the category is related to the proper page and the for the page is turned on.
Modify an Opinion Poll Category

System Administration | Owner
Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Opinion Polls
Select Choose an Action and then Properties next to the applicable category
Fill in the information
Category Name: Title of category
Show Archives: The default will show as Yes or No; leave the setting at default.
Permissions: Set permissions at the category level
View: May view the live side only
Author: Submit new items, modify unpublished items
Publisher: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify published items, accept/reject submitted items
Owner: Publish new items, modify/delete unpublished items, modify/delete published items, accept/reject submitted items, create/modify categories, assign category permissions
Select Save
Delete an Opinion Poll Category
Important Note:
All items in a category must be unpublished and deleted before deleting the category.
Who can use this feature?
System Administration | Owner | Publisher
Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Opinion Polls
Find the category you wish to delete and select Choose an Action and then Unpublish
The category will move to Unpublished Categories, select Choose an Action, and then Delete
Select OK to Are you sure you want to delete this category?
