Add & Modify Promo Codes

This article will show you how to add and configure Promo Codes to the ePayment Center.

Add a Promo Code

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to s and on the Content tab, select ePayment CenterThe ePayment Center URL in the Module Content menu.

  3. Select the Promo Codes tab The promo codes tab.

  4. Select Add a Promo CodeThe green add a promo code button.

  5. Fill in the information fields The promo code input fields.

    Note:

    When you develop a promo code, the total transaction amount must be above the minimum transaction amount or be established as 100% of the transaction amount. This is to account for any processing fees associated with a transaction.

    • Code: Enter Code (limit of 10 characters)

    • Discount:

      • Choose either percentage (%) or dollar amount ($) in the drop-down list

      • Enter a value for the discount

      • Enter a value for the maximum amount

    • Available: Enter the dates you wish for the code to be available to customers

    • Limit: Enter a limit for coupon use, or leave the field blank for no limit

  6. Select Save or Save and Publish The green Save and Save and Publish buttons.

    • Save: Saves work, does not publish

    • Save and Submit: (Authors-only) Saves work and submits the code to a Publisher for review

    • Save and Publish: Saves work and then publishes it for public view

  7. View the Promo Code information The promo code information under the Promo Codes header.

    • Code ID: Automatically generated based on creation date

    • Code: Your discount code

    • Discount: Percentage/dollar amount and the maximum amount

    • Effective Dates: The start and end dates of the promotion

    • Redemptions: How many times the code was redeemed and the total available redemptions

    • Status: Will show if the promotion is published (live), pending (scheduled), draft (unpublished), or expired

Modify a Promo Code

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author, Authors can only modify unpublished (draft) promo codes.

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to s and on the Content tab, select ePayment CenterThe ePayment Center URL in the Module Content menu.

  3. Select the Promo Codes tab The Promo Codes tab.

  4. Click Actions next to the Promo Code you want to modify The Actions button.

  5. Select Modify from the drop-down menu.The Modify button.

  6. Edit Promo Code's options The promo code input fields.

    Note:

Delete a Promo Code

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to s and on the Content tab, select ePayment CenterThe ePayment Center URL in the Module Content menu.

  3. Select the Promo Codes tab The Promo Codes tab.

  4. Next to your desired Promo Code, select ActionsThe Actions button.

  5. Click Delete The Delete button.

  6. Reply OK to the pop-up that asks Are you sure you want to delete this item? The OK button.
