Add the Image Widget to a Page

This article will show you how to add an Image Widget to your page.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. Navigate to your desired page and ensure that Live Edit is On:CivicPlus interface showing Municipal Websites Central with live editing feature activated.

  4. Drag and drop the Image Widget to the desired location on your page: CivicPlus website interface showing content modules for municipal website management. The image widget is highlighted.

  5. Navigate through the folders and click Insert next to the image, or images, that you want to add to your page: A list of facilities with options to insert images and view details for each item.

    Note:

    To easily locate an image, you can Search for Display Name or ID. You also can Add a Folder or Add Images from this window: An input field for searching display names or IDs with an add image button.

  6. Click the Image Widget Options button to configure the widget: A gazebo by the water with a highlighted image options button.

  7. Adjust Widget Options, as needed: Widget options for image settings, including header text and background style removal.

    • Header Text: Add text above the image

    • Background Styles: Check to remove the background outline from the image

    • Link Image: Check to enter a URL to link the image to

  8. Click the Save button:Options to save or cancel changes in a document editing interface with the save button highlighted.
