Associate Related Request Tracker Tickets

In the Request Tracker module, you are able to associate submitted tickets together that are similar. This allows you to easily monitor all related tickets.

Important Note:

All sales before July 1, 2020 will have this version of CRTâ„¢. If your contract started after this date, please view the information for the new CRT package.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules > Content > Request TrackerModules menu, content tab, with RequestTracker selected.

  2. Open your desired category A list of RequestTracker categories.

  3. Find the original ticket and make note of the Ticket NumberA list of RequestTracker tickets.

  4. On the related ticket, click Actions The ticket actions menu button.

  5. Select View DetailsThe Actions menu view details option.

  6. Scroll down to below the Map display and in the Associated Requests field, enter in the Original Ticket Number A list of any associated requests.

  7. Click Associate The Associate button.

  8. Your screen should refresh. You will not have to save An updated list of associated tickets.

    Note: You will see the association on your other ticket as well. The original ticket in an associated ticket's list.
